Basic research areas

1. Mechanisms of tumor-associated antigens recognition and development of specific immunological approaches for stimulating anti-tumor autoimmunity. Development of immunotherapeutic drugs on the base of xenogeneic tumor and tissue antigens.

2. Pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases and development of immunologic approaches for ther treatment.-Development and preparation of vaccines based on the autoantigens when antigens are known (rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, of allergy). Development and preparation of vaccines in cases of polyantigenic diseases (lupus erythematosus, Crohn's disease, asthma, etc.).

3. Mechanisms of tissue regeneration and approaches to stimulate the regeneration in various organs, development of cellular technologies to stimulate regeneration of:.

- kidney diseases

brain and spinal cord diseases and trauma

- bone and articular diseases.
